My Name is Kevin Thayer, the owner of Thayer2Design, LLC. Since owning my first computer, I’ve always had a passion for technology. As a child I can remember the days of creating websites on Yahoo Page Builder and spending hours creating different websites just for fun. I eventually went on to receive my Bachelors degree in Web Design at AIU. Shortly after I moved to Canastota, NY to be closer to my family and upon doing so I turned my freelancing and “just for fun” web design passion and turned it into my business known as Thayer2Design.
When I’m not working on websites I love watching sports. I am a huge fan of the New York Yankees and the Syracuse Orange. I’ve also had the opportunity to build websites for local sport teams such as Rome Select Basketball.
It has been a pleasure to work with many great people and businesses in the Syracuse, Oneida, Rome and all of Central New York. I hope to give back to the community and helping build everyone’s online presence through web design. I’m also proud to say that Thayer2Design goes beyond CNY and has helped many great clients all over from Watertown, Long Island and more!

So how does it work? There is no right way to begin designing your website but for most of my clients it goes a little something like this: We start with a brief meeting either on the phone, Skype, email, or in person to discuss your needs. We will go over how your website should function, how many pages you think you’ll need and any ideas you might have for the site itself. Next we’ll go over any extras that you need. Does your company need a logo? Will you need business cards that have your website on them? We will also talk about Web Hosting and a Domain name for your site.
Sometimes talking about all this can sound like another language so we make sure to explain what each of these services means, why you might need them, and then the final choice is up to you.
